1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the AfIMMP TVTC (Technical and Vocational Training Centre) website and services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

AfIMMP TVTC provides technical and vocational training services including but not limited to:

  • Online and blended learning programs
  • Face-to-face training sessions
  • Certification and qualification programs
  • Career guidance and placement services
  • Skills development workshops

3. Registration and Account

3.1 Account Creation: To access certain services, you must register for an account by providing accurate, current, and complete information.

3.2 Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3.3 Accurate Information: You agree to provide true, accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to maintain and update this information.

3.4 Age Requirement: You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and participate in our programs.

4. Fees and Payment Terms

4.1 Program Fees: All fees for training programs are clearly displayed and must be paid in Ghana Cedis (GHS).

4.2 Registration Fee: A non-refundable registration fee of GHS 250.00 is required for all new students.

4.3 Payment Methods: We accept payment via Mobile Money, Bank Transfer, and Credit/Debit Cards.

4.4 Refund Policy: Refunds are subject to our refund policy. Fees are non-refundable after program commencement unless otherwise specified.

4.5 Late Payments: Late payments may result in suspension of access to services until payment is received.

5. Student Conduct and Responsibilities

5.1 Academic Integrity: Students must maintain high standards of academic integrity and honesty in all coursework and assessments.

5.2 Respectful Behavior: Students must treat instructors, staff, and fellow students with respect and courtesy.

5.3 Attendance: Regular attendance is required for all scheduled sessions. Excessive absence may result in program dismissal.

5.4 Technology Use: Students must use provided technology and platforms responsibly and in accordance with applicable laws.

5.5 Prohibited Activities: The following are strictly prohibited:

  • Sharing account credentials with unauthorized persons
  • Attempting to hack or disrupt the platform
  • Sharing copyrighted material without permission
  • Harassment or discrimination of any kind

6. Academic Policies

6.1 Grading: Grades are determined based on assessment criteria outlined in each program syllabus.

6.2 Assessments: All assessments must be completed within specified timeframes. Extensions may be granted under exceptional circumstances.

6.3 Appeals: Students may appeal grades or decisions through the formal appeals process outlined in the student handbook.

6.4 Academic Progress: Students must maintain satisfactory academic progress to remain enrolled in programs.

7. Certification and Qualifications

7.1 Certification Requirements: To receive certification, students must successfully complete all program requirements and assessments.

7.2 Industry Recognition: Our certifications are recognized by industry partners and employers in Ghana and internationally.

7.3 Continuing Education: Some certifications require continuing education or recertification to maintain validity.

7.4 Placement Assistance: While we provide career guidance and placement assistance, job placement is not guaranteed.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

8.1 Our Content: All content provided by AfIMMP TVTC, including course materials, videos, and assessments, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

8.2 Student Work: Students retain rights to their original work created during the program, but grant AfIMMP TVTC limited rights to use this work for promotional purposes.

8.3 Unauthorized Use: Students may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without explicit written permission.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

9.1 Data Collection: We collect personal information necessary for providing educational services and improving our programs.

9.2 Data Use: Your information is used solely for educational and administrative purposes and is not sold to third parties.

9.3 Data Security: We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information.

9.4 Your Rights: You have the right to access, modify, or delete your personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

10. Limitation of Liability

10.1 Service Availability: While we strive to maintain 99.9% uptime, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service and are not liable for temporary service interruptions.

10.2 Indirect Damages: AfIMMP TVTC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services.

10.3 Maximum Liability: Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the services in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

11.1 By You: You may terminate your account at any time by contacting our support team.

11.2 By Us: We may terminate or suspend your account for violation of these terms, non-payment of fees, or other serious misconduct.

11.3 Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your access to services will cease, but these terms will continue to apply to prior use of our services.

12. Dispute Resolution

12.1 Informal Resolution: We encourage students to first attempt to resolve disputes through informal communication with our staff.

12.2 Formal Process: If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Ghana in accordance with Ghanaian law.

12.3 Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana.

13. Changes to Terms

13.1 Right to Modify: We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Students will be notified of significant changes via email or platform notifications.

13.2 Continued Use: Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

13.3 Previous Versions: Previous versions of these terms may be requested from our support team.
